Incredibly rich history of medicine Totally worths a visit of at least two hours
like
I visited the museum as I like to know about the human biology and the working behind it. It has a detailed history about how anatomy has developed, evolving from the four humours theory to the one we have today. The tools that the scientists used in those days plus their 'operating theatre' too. But I would want to say that the museum does lack some English translations for certain areas. But aside from that it is a pleasure to visit the museum and check out the medical history that it houses. I would recommend it.
(Written from the perspective of a tourist) The museum was very interesting, but was not very well advertised. Some of the displays had an information card in English, but these seemed to be shorter than the information in Italian, so I feel like we missed out on a lot of information. Also, the were lots of books on display, but these had no English counterpart, so again we could not appreciate them fully. The price was a little steep, and if it was reduced slightly I imagine a lot more people would want to visit. It was extremely quiet when I visited. My partner and I practically had the place to ourselves.
Amazing experience...digging into medicine
The kids enjoyed it. Some nice interactive displays. I would have liked a bit more depth in some parts but on the whole a positive experience.
