One of the nicest surprises on my camiño was meeting Don Pepe, and his wonderful place, full of stories. A boost in your motivation to continue.

Well located, lots of pilgrim paraphernalia donated by passing customers, some sweaty which makes the place inside a bit smelly but gives it a unique look ;). Don Pepe has a book for everyone to sign. Outside chairs were lovely.
It's open early, which is great, and it's kind of a neat spot, full of mementos from passing pilgrims. It does have a bit of a smell, which is not so great, and we were pressured into ordering some cake that we didn't want. But the worst thing is that you will not escape this place without the owner kissing you. We tried. It wasn't super-pervy, but we were uncomfortable. He does it with everyone, it turns out, and it's really on the knife's edge of friendly v. creepy, but yeah, if you're not into getting kissed by a stranger, avoid this place.
The best guy ever! Opened because of us and serves us a cold beer and even offered a good cake from his wife. He is the definition of hospitality!
