Just completed my second stay in a property managed by Cornish Horizons. Once again, a fantastic experience. Don't hesitate to use this company for any of your Padstow holidays, they are fabulous. Particularly at this unusual time, their communication on Covid and changes to process required (keys, cleaning etc..) has been brilliant. Will certainly be returning in 2021. Thank you to the whole team for making our half term break so stress free and enjoyable.

I booked a 15 Wesley Place with St Ives Holiday/Cornish Horizons (part of Original Cottages group) back in July. The level of cleaning was an absolute disgrace, mould in the fridge and microwave, green mould on the cutlery, chopping board, open drain in the rear yard, broken freezer.....I could go on and on. A health and safety disaster. Access was delayed to \minimise your risk of exposure to Covid 19\. No cleaning had been done. A letter of compliant has been submitted, it is now middle of September and all I have received is an automated response. They have no customer service and simply don't care. Absolute disgrace of an organisation. Do not book through this organisation or its subsidiaries.

I was disappointed to read such negative comments about Cornish Horizons as we have always found the process easy and trouble free. We have literally returned (October 2020) from a week away in one of their cottages near Padstow and it was a delight. This was a much better experience than another company based in Padstow!

Cornish Horizons has some really nice properties and were generally easy to deal with when we had to cancel our booking in March although I did have to wait a little while for a response on how to access a voucher for future booking. Stayed in one of their properties in Padstow recently and the property was lovely, exactly as described, however when we arrived there (at 8pm) there was no key in the keysafe! Tried calling the priority emergency line and went to voicemail so left a message. Fortunately got hold of a number for the maintenance person and was able to drive to their house and pick up their keys. Didn't hear anything from Cornish Horizons at all though for the duration of the stay, no apology or acknowledgement that they'd heard my voicemail! I would use them again as the property was so nice and they seem to have a lot in Cornwall, but wasn't too impressed with the service on this occasion.
