Visited on 31st of July 2020. To have 3 drinks cost me 19.80, because I had mixers of lemonade, explained I was driving and that shandies shouldn't cost more than the physical cider to be told that I was the only one to ever complain, asked to get a break down of the cost to be told halves cost the same as full pints which meant my 3 points cost me the value of six drinks. Having lived in Cornwall my complete life this pub epitomises the fact it's constantly ripping off holidaymakers. I won't be returning. Good view, experience however ruined by profit-making and redness due to questioning the price. Such a shame.

Lovely pub with a fantastic view of Porthcothan Bay, delicious pub grub and local beers. Had a vegan option for the main and pudding. Felt very safe with their effective measures for Covid-19.

Walked from Constantine along the coastal path, rewarding ourselves with pints of Betty Stoggs and Rattler and sunset views on the terrace. Hard to beat. Clean, well set up for social distancing, good service. No complaints here!

It probably wasn't the best day to go as it was lashing with rain. The Tredrea is a big place and probably difficult to heat but it was freezing in there! We were sat by windows facing the view of the beach and they've clearly seen better days (the rubber seals were coming off). The food we ordered arrived in good time and the portions were generous but the chips we had tasted like they were either reheated or fried in oil which needed changing. We didn't find it particularly pleasant to see staff on their break sitting smoking. The Tredrea is much better during the Spring and Summer months when you can sit outside. Having been to The Tredrea a few times over the last few years we felt it's not as good as it was, which I'm sorry to report but that's our opinion.
