Had them insulate house a couple of years ago. We were having new siding installed. They had to do half of the house from the inside due to bad communication with siding installers (this was not air tites fault on this part.) I asked for a heads up on the insulation job of 24 hours so we could move furniture. They called me 30 mins before arriving and I was on my way to work. They offered to move furniture which was fine. However they didn't really move or cover anything. My wife caught them standing on our couch. We were in the middle of a remodel on the interior and they blew insulation into one slot that didn't have an interior wall. They didn't clean that up leaving my wife to do it. Then they had machine problems which caused a heck of a mess on the driveway. Didn't clean that up either. Now the worst part... we are adding an addition and had to remove some of the siding. Out of about 15 viewable slots, 7 have no insulation. I'm so irritated I can't see straight. No wonder we have seen zero efficiency improvement. Owner seems like a nice guy and may be an honest fella, but he didn't do the job. It was some unprofessional crew that obviously didn't care about what they provided. So disappointing in that now it would be very difficult to correct and get the efficiency I paid for. I would had batt rolled while remodeling if I'd known it would be this terrible. I have a picture of the missing insulation if Google will allow me to upload.
Mark and his crew came to our home and performed an infrared test to find areas that had leaks. Blew in some insulation and our electric bill dropped!! That simple! We were very happy with their work as we were expecting it to be much more than it was.
