The staff is super friendly and they are always willing to take time and help you find what you're looking for. They have very reasonable price ranges on their equipment and you can usually try out most items prior to buying. This is one of my favorite places to go in all of Paducah. Plus they are a local business that has been around for a lifetime serving the community. Just a terrific bunch of folks and musical instruments.

1-6-19 Bought a 5 string Yamaha bass guitar. Love this place. Great service. 4-4-19 Finish started fading on pewter hardware. Took it in to have it looked at and was told that it would not be covered under warranty as it is normal wear. 6-4-19 Had my wife take this back to the store for me to speak with another person. She was told that they were not sure if they would cover it but they would find out and call us. 7-31-19 FB message to Allen's Music, They have contacted Yamaha and are going to cover the hardware. 8-2-19 Deliver Bass to the store for warranty repair. 8-13-19 Call for follow up, transferred to Tim. Tim has been off an no hardware has been ordered, there had been no work order created.

All of my instruments have come from Allen Music. Brandon is a great friend and he and his family have treated me like family for years. Highly recommend this music store.
Cool store and front of house service, received my guitar back after some work done and was very disappointed. The intonation was actually farther off than when I brought it in. It wasn't wiped down. The pick-ups were simply set flush with the mount. Not close in volume. The bridge was also simply tightened to the body. My high e string wasn't even on the bridge when I opened the case. Obviously they really could of cared less to do the work. I'd rather be told that up front. I honestly feel insulted that they would assume I wouldn't notice or care. I've spent near half the price and received more. The only reason I didn't return immediately to have it fixed is because they're never touching a guitar of mine again. I even said \I don't care what it cost I just wanted it fixed right.\ If you can't or don't want to work on guitars... Don't. Stick to selling NeuSonics for 1500.
