Fantastic homemade burgers & peach cobler w/ vanilla ice cream
Backyard Burgers is a place I stumbled across while traveling to Paducah to visit a few stores that I needed to visit. I had never heard of them before, as I am from Indiana and just wanted to give them a try. Due to the things going on in the world I had to do drive thru which is fine with me. I was greeted with a very clean and easy to read menu and the person on the speaker was very easy to hear and understand. I got a normal burger and seasoned fries. For a fast food resteraunt, it was very good, the burger tasted very fresh, the cheese actually tasted like real cheese, and the toppings all seemed very fresh and juicy. I enjoyed seemingly every part of it but the price, which is the only reason I would knock a star off. I had to pay almost 12 for just myself for a burger meal. I can often get a sit down style resteraunt that rivals this or better for that price. If they could get that price point down to more competitive levels of fast food I would 5 star it, somewhere around 7-8 like other chains. I would visit again however if I was ever in the area again.
