I regret having to give a bad review...I can’t even comment on the food since our food order never came...and that’s after they supposedly put our order in a 2nd time since it got missed. We ended up having to leave for our ballgame after waiting over 1.5 hours for food we never received. Not near enough help to cover the busy weekend of basketball families.

I'm staying at the hotel that this joint is located in, and honestly expected the restaurant to measure up to the absolutely fantastic standard I've seen in the rest of the hotel. How very wrong I was. While the staff member who took my order was exceptionally friendly, the food just didn't measure up, especially considering the prices here (13 to 15 for a burger). I ordered 2 veggie patties, no lettuce, no bread, with 2 over easy eggs and grilled mushrooms, and a side salad. I could float the French army down the sidewalk on the river of grease my food arrived sitting in. The veggie patties were no better quality than a Kroger freezer section boxed variety, and were burned black around the edges, destroying what little flavor they may have had to begin with. Absolutely no condiments arrived with the meal. The eggs were nothing close to over easy - one yolk was completely cooked dry and the other was a moment away from being cooked through, as well. This is something I pointed out THREE times when I placed my order, that I wanted the egg yolks runny. Disaster. The salad was the sorriest I've ever seen from an establishment that hopes to make money selling edible food. It was all iceberg lettuce, and even then, mostly the bitter nasty white pieces, adorned with flavorless chunks of what I presume the chef thought were croutons. The house dressing, the balsamic, was not balanced in flavor and while it should have been tangy, was all tang and no taste. I finished my meal - but I won't order here again, and I wouldn't be able to recommend this place to anyone, unfortunately.
Very pretty. Upscale lounge. Very nice patio with gas fire pits. Located inside the Holiday Inn Riverside. Service was a little slow. (Over 90 minutes order & eat.) Burger was average. Chicken tenders had very little or no kind of batter, just deep fried to death. Atmosphere was GREAT. Food not so much. Go for a drink. Maybe food will improve.
Underwhelming.... a name like Burger Theory really opens you up for a creative atmosphere and a symphony of American Hamburger twist. The onion rings were the right texture and perfectly battered, yet relatively flavorless. My burger came on rye bread and was beautifully presented. The burger was slightly greasy, and cheesed, corned beef, then topped with cole slaw. It seemed this was going to be a masterpiece, again relatively tasteless! What is going on here!!!!! The service was average and my server did not partake with the other 5 servers that were worried only about their boyfriends and kids that were hanging out in the booth area, causing a ruckus. Over all the staff was unprofessional and needed some work etiquette classes. To top the mediocrity off, a river restaurant where you can't see the river completely lets you down.
Never knew anyone could mess up a burger.... I mean that thing was about as like it just come out of the field I out my ear up to it and I heard a momma calling for her calf.(Ordered well done) and there was more salt on the burger than the fries!!!! Very unsatisfying. Service was good. I'll give them that. Had 5 refills due to fact that I had to drink something everytime I ate a piece of meat.
Great menu options. And a great place to sit and have a drink
The food was good and the price was to match. Not expensive and the portions are worth it. Fish tacos and burger for two people and we had plenty of leftovers.
We had stopped here when we stayed at the holiday inn. We were expecting high end food as we had such a great expierience with the hotel. We waited close to and hour for our kids food who we ordered right when we were seated. And 45 min for our food we ordered later. Our kids got ordered the macaroni and it never came out the whole time we were there.there was only maybe 20 other people there. There is no reason it takes an hour to make macaroni I was very unimpressed
