Very nice and clean with friendly, transparent staff. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The shower doesn’t get too hot, and the water pressure is insane. The outside of the building is very clean and well maintained. This is right next to I-24 but you can’t here traffic all night, even on the interstate side. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel that is cheap, but very well maintained.

So.. of course like any time you plan on staying the night, you should always make a reservation. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation, but luckily there was 1 room available. King size bed.. very nice room. Flat screen tv, kitchen was a surprise, had dishes, dish soap under the sink, coffee maker, pots and pans, silverware. The freezer already had ice in the tray, which was awesome. Decent size closet with iron and ironing board. The bathroom is large, extra towels and a small hair dryer that puts out greatly. There are shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers in the shower, which is also cool! Smelled like lilacs. We were in room 421, so if you happen to get this room, the bathroom sink and bathtub faucets are backwards. Cold is hot, hot is cold. Check out is at 12pm! They don't have free breakfast, but you can purchase food and drinks in the small lounge, that you will need your room key for. Also, there is a business room, use of computer, internet, fax, printer, and other appliances, including board games, books, playing cards and puzzles. Excellent and friendly service, very helpful. Will stay at this hotel again! One thing they should upgrade is having a USB port on the outlets or available in the room.

Good place. Service took a bit, but to be fair, I arrived around 8pm local time, and people deserve breaks. Rooms are nice, kitchenette is great for people like me staying for an extended period of time. They have some nice services too (free self-serve laundry). Even dogs seem to be allowed, which is nice. The only negative I've found is sound. Floors/walls seem thin...luckily this hotel seems aimed mostly at people on business...so no rowdy kids. Sound outside can carry too. The highway may be a 3/4 drive away, but if I opened my window I could toss a rock into the middle of it...and it's busy. So yeah, if highway sounds aren't your thing, might want to turn on some white noise while you sleep.

Overall, my stay here at the candlewood suites was good, however, there were a couple downsides which prevented me from being satisfied enough to leave a five star review. PROS: spacious room, comfortable bed, and by the elevator. CONS: and obvious and dangerously sounding elevator that makes the most horrendous noise whenever the car goes up or down especially the doors when they close. Brought this up to the front desk person on the first day there, and while they were nice, their response was “oh it does that every now and then. It’s perfectly fine.” I explain to them that I work for the department of public safety in Connecticut and that is, in fact, an elevator that does not sound safe and should be looked at relatively soon. Also, the dishes in my room we’re not put away but left in the dishwasher and we’re filthy. The one glass cup provided it to me had lipstick And I had to wash everything myself. There were no do not disturb signs and there were people smoking weed on my floor. Wasn’t to say no smoking establishment? Ended up having to leave a few days early for a family emergency back home, however, I’ll never get the sound of that elevator out of my head.

We stay here about every 3 months while traveling between our homes in Missouri and Florida. It's very clean and comfortable and our dogs enjoy the pet walking area. Unfortunately, the front desk staff has little personality, preferring not to interact with the guests. The exterior door on one side of the building doesn't lock which makes me worry about safety. Overall, it's a good place to stay overnight but don't expect conversation.

Nice place. Keep in mind this is pandemic time. If you will stay long term, bring your own utensils. I only stayed one night. Not sure if kitchenware was at the front desk.

Nice place. But no ice buckets. No kitchen utensils. To use..no silverware...

This was the dirtiest room we have ever stayed at out of all of the properties we have stayed at. We were in town for a funeral planning and was never so disappointed with a hotel stay as we were with this stay. Employees and the manager did not wear masks as they post to do so. Normally we would of addressed these issues immediately but due to the sensitive nature of our visit we chose to just get thru the stay. We just dont want another family to come to this hotel without a truthful families opinion. Very dirty and unpleasant not to mention unprofessional.
