Tasty taco salad with mixed meat, chicken & steak, no fried tortilla bowl. Portion is small though. Chicken wasn't dry/overcooked. Indulged in a fried ice cream for dessert which was good but I'd recommend a sugar/cinnamon dusting for the fried bowl. Waitress was on point. Bathroom was sleek, clean, modern and beautiful. Music is too loud and too fast. I was not impressed with the salsa that came with the chips before the meal arrived. It was bland and just needs improvement. In summary, more garlic and seasoning for the salsa and increase the portion size, please. I was still hungry and that's why I ordered dessert. 33 for 2 adults for 2 cokes, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, tip not included, so price was fair & expected. I'll give 4 out of 5 stars.

I stopped by and talked with the owner he was extremely polite and the restaurant was very nice and clean. I looked at a menu and I can't wait to try the food here! Definitely stop by and try Hugo's Mexican Restaurant!
Finally a Mexican restaurant where the name is the same as that as the owners. Hugo's isn't just namesake, it's fact. And between his personal excellent service and food there is nothing more than applause I have for this restaurant. The food is good and the owner is a friendly, family man who's kept the same employees for years even through corona. The bar is also pretty well stocked with an excellent assortment of frozen blended drinks alcohol and alcohol free.
