I have had persistent pain in my right shoulder for several years. After only one dry needling treatment, the pain is almost completely gone, and has stayed gone for almost a month now! I experienced no pain with the procedure, and am honestly in awe of the science and efficacy of dry needling. I can’t recommend Rachel Atufunwa highly enough. We are so lucky to have such an amazing, professional physical therapist right here in Paducah!

Dr. Rachel is very knowledgeable and thorough in her clinical assessments and decision making. She performs total body assessments to find out the true source of pain and is able to perform dry needling to the tight and restricted muscles. She doesn't believe in quick fix approaches and does an excellent job educating her patients on why it will take time to heal and address the common compensations that have developed over time (whether it be due to pain, injury or just poor postural or movement patterns). She is not only knowledgeable but is both kind and compassionate. You can tell that she loves what she does and truly cares for the people she treats. She takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns and through that is able to get a thorough history and background to help develop her course of treatment. The best thing about her practice is that you can make an appointment with her without having to jump through hoops at your physician's office. So if you have an ongoing ache or pain don't wait!!
