Yes, this is an awesomely engineered bridge... light but strong... SCARY AS HECK... please be careful about your speed on this relic! Note, because it is a truss bridge, it is probably safe than your other 100- year old bridges! Come see it and stay for cheap in metropolis!

An outmoded bridge built for the needs of 90 years ago. Very narrow by modern standards and the metal grate decking shifts your vehicle from side to side. The speed limit is 25 mph and many drive it faster. If you don’t like driving on narrow bridges then stay away. That said, we will miss it when it’s gone.

Ridiculously awesome bridge. Ridiculously narrow, makes for an interesting drive every time. The worst part is right before you get on the bridge headed south out of Illinois, there is a 45 degree turn that you had better be careful on, or you will loose a mirror.

If you ever asked what is the scariest bridge over the Ohio River, try this one. First off this bridge is really narrow and also it’s over a big part of the Ohio River. I’ve never been on this bridge but I hope I never will. Some people even say it’s scarier than the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Also the speed limit on here is only 25 mph, like at least make 40 mph. Overall I hope I never go on this bridge
