Mailboxes Plus located in Lone Oak, Ky goes above and beyond to help customers get their packages mailed. Janet and Nick were so friendly and patient as I tried to send a package shipping label so that they could print it for me. I don’t receive such great customer service at other places. They will continue to get my business!!
Mailed a package last Friday at this location. They didn't have the post office pick it up until the following Wednesday. Now my item will be a week late, which this item had a time sensitive delivery date and now I have late payments to vendors. I received no phone call to let me know they made a mistake. I understand mistakes happen but this is ridiculous in this line of business.
This place out here robbin people. 21 for a box and some peanuts and then 80 shipping? I shipped the same box with USPS for 25.
I was home for Holidays and needed to ship some large framed pictures to my apartment in California. At every point during my time in the store, the employees were cold and very unfriendly. After I asked to watch how they were wrapping up the framed pictures--one signed by the President of the United States, they became even more unfriendly. I had shipped items across the country before and was prepared for a bill around 100. When they quoted the price of 280 on FedEx ground after the box had been totally wrapped and taped, I stood there in sticker shock. I was contemplating paying them for the box and taking it to another vendor to get a shipping quote. My father, the hero of the story, ended up handing them his credit card because he could see I was very uncomfortable. They charged 44 dollars to pack the items and 230 to ship. I could not tell if the price was so high because of some bias against President Obama or because I was shipping from a non-metro location. To be fair, the package was 32 pounds and in a large bicycle box. I just feel like they could have been friendlier and talked through the options before presenting me with such a large bill. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is very unfriendly. I would encourage others in Paducah to find an alternative.
