Mister Penguin is a great place for buying or renting tuxedos or suits. My daughter has prom soon and we needed a tuxedo for her boyfriend. The gentleman that helped us made it fast and painless. The pricing was comprable and better than any other local rental store. I was very impressed the service and the quality of the tuxedo, we rented, itself. He gave us several choices and actually threw in a long tie just in case the red in the bow tie did not match the red in my daughter's dress. So he went above and beyond, kudos.

Absolutely do not work with Mr. Penguin if you can avoid it. We used them for our groomsmen attire. We rented pants, shirts, suspenders, and shoes. 4 pieces of clothing. We had all sizes turned in an entire month before the deadline he gave us. They were not ready until the Tuesday of wedding week, and he didn't want to let us pick them up until Thursday, giving us no time to have our men come in and try their clothing on to be sure of fit before our wedding. I was also assured that my groom would have slim fit pants. He had regular fit pants. We were also missing shoes for THE GROOM and another groomsmen. All of the clothing was separated neatly by man with their name on their things. I assumed they were correct. Wrong. Over half of our things were mixed up and on the wrong hanger for the wrong man leaving me as the bride, the week of my wedding, sorting through each piece and calling each man to be sure that we had the right sizes for each which none of them knew because Jerry measured many of them completely incorrectly. For example, my father had to leave the venue the day of the wedding to go home and get a white button down shirt that fit properly because his was so small. When we confronted Jerry about the missing shoes and mixed up clothing, he wasn't the least bit fazed or apologetic. I repeat DO NOT USE MR PENGUIN unless you're a fan of added stress, unapologetic behavior, and complete carelessness.

They donated a tuxedo one time for a photoshoot and I truly appreciated it. I haven't ever rented a tux here so I have no idea if it is a good business or not. It has been around for years so it must be.

Poor management and poor customer service. We rented a Tux for my son for two weeks went back twice because items did not fit. Replacement shirt was wrinkled, but we had no choice. There was no discount offered. At the very least a person would expect an apology. None was offered. He thought he was being generous even though he tried to overcharge me as well.There are other places in the area that rent formal wear. Go to professionals.

Would have given negative stars if it was a choice! Went into store to check on renting shirts and ties for a wedding. The store smelled of mold and dirty water. We were shown pictures of shirts and ties with material samples. He never offered to show us any items in the store. The music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. He really didn't seem to care if he had our business or not. So guess what? We went elsewhere. The hours are ridiculous. I think Mr Penguin will be another empty space before long....sad.
