I love how diverse the congregation is and the inclusive nature of the parish family. I've been Catholic my whole life but I've never been a part of a church where members truly treat each other like family the way they do at Rosary! The worship style is more upbeat and joyful than many of the other Catholic churches in West Ky. A regular Sunday mass includes lively piano music, drums and clapping along with at least one song. You won't find a more \kid friendly\ mass in Paducah! When the little ones fuss during the mass no one judges or ushers the parents off to a nursery. Instead members will often smile, offer the child a snack or try to help the parents keep the child occupied. After mass you'll usually hear members give the parents with small children a pep talk about how no one was bothered by the little one's antics.

A welcoming community with beautiful racial and age diversity.

This was a black Catholic parish. Nothing wrong with that obviously, just be advised that customs and courtesies are very different. And actually, I've been to many many black Catholic parishes. I love the spirituality! But this particular parish did not even celebrate Mass on Christmas! That is decidedly antiCatholic. They've decided to conform their Parish to the world instead of bringing the world to Jesus Christ. The doors should be locked shut or the priest removed from ministry.
