Shannon has been our insurance agent for almost 15 years. Everything we own is covered by her State Farm office. Usually you only have contact with your insurance agent when your bill is due or something very unfortunate has happened. Shannon has always not only been mindful that we have the coverage we need for our changing life situations, but has also made sure that we weren’t buying more than we needed. Insurance can be complicated and concerning. We are grateful to have Shannon’s care and counsel. It has meant so much to have an agent we can trust.

No Excuses

Unfortunately, in my personal experience - the agent never seemed to be in the office and her office staff never seemed to know what to do except take a message. There was a lack of communication on her part and a huge failure to follow up.

I had the misfortune of totaling my car in front of the mall, on a rainy night, one week before Christmas. I called my best friend first. Since we both have insurance with Shannon Brotherton at State Farm, she made the call for me. Imagine how surprised I was when Shannon got there before my friend, the tow truck or the police. She was across the street Christmas shopping. It was way past office hours, but she postponed her family errands to come to the scene of the accident. When everyone else arrived, I was sitting in Shannon’s truck, kept dry out of the rain, and getting instructions on what I would need to do next (along with friendly assurance that this sort of thing happens and all would be well) Shannon’s presence helped make a frustrating and scary Christmas gift not quite as bad. I felt like I was doing a commercial. “Like a good Neighbor-State Farm was there”
