Love the history and architecture. Very unique rest stop. Picnic tables are a great touch.
Had arrived after 5pm so no host or hostess was present. But this rest area is very clean and bathrooms are modern. Lots of info on places to visit in Kentucky. Well lighted and plenty of parking spaces.
The gentleman keeping the area clean was very nice and does a great job. We couldn't believe this was a rest stop/welcome center. We stopped on the way up and back.
Absolutely gorgeous! This is the best rest area I've been to ever! I would go there again, hands down. I highly recommend stopping in if you haven't been there yet.
