Nice quaint place. Got the oriental feel. Good food at reasonable prices. Good for a meal out with family. 25pp inc drinks budget
Tonight was to be a spoil ourselves evening and enjoy a good meal. We got there and were promptly seated and drinks ordered. We ordered banquet B and the soup arrived quite quick but they forgot the chicken and sweetcorn of the wifes and then when done the entrees came but then we were forgotten about. I had to grab attention to get drink refills and again to ask for next course as been waiting a while. Two tables who were seated nearby also ordered banquets and by the time we had finally managed to raise attention to a passing waiter the others were nearly finished. I complained as there were only a few tables and not busy but was just dismissed with a sorry and again left for 20 mins with a duck and pancake dish that we had finished with. The quality of the food is excellent but the service is diabolical that we gave up and took our main meal as take away after 2:30hrs for 3 dishes.
Great Restaurant, good service, ambient, stunning decoration. I had a good and relaxed meal with my wife. I recommend to my friends and all who want a GREAT moment. Thanks Pagoda Cantonese Restaurant Wakefield. I will be back.
Wow! What an amazing experience. The decor is lovely and not tired looking. Staff service is second to none. They give you the perfect amount of time to choose your food and drinks and even though the restaurant was I'd say half full the food was out quick hot and OMG soooooo tasty and fresh. The food is excellent and we will defo be going back. It's my new favourite restaurant now. Defo recommended two thumbs up from me.
