Kaboom J. Schneider · 2 seconds ago The first thing I look for in a tattoo parlor is good lighting. The dark ones are terrible for seeing if the tattoo is positioned correctly, and after, when you're red, sore hamburger meat, a dark room, and dirty mirror won't let you see what has been done to you. The second thing I look for is art done by the artists who work there. Then it's on to their portfolios. Add some age and experience to the artists and you've got a great shop! I spoke with Esteban at length but Louis did two tattoos for me in the same sitting and I could not be happier! Louis knew his craft and explained what he would prefer to do to make my new ink look the best. Dammit, he was right! The only problem with finding a great artist is the regret of not having done other past ink with them. I'll be back for some touchup work on my less-than-great tattoos! I have to add the great vibe in the shop, several artists and customers there and it was a real party! I have to get a Saturday night appointment. Bet it really swings!
