Definitely the best car rental service that I ever experienced. It was minus 2 Celsius outside and snow covered all cars but our car (exactly the same which I reserved) was defrosted and ready to go! Ashley from car rental was waiting for us outside (!) with keys in her hand, ready to explain everything. The same when we returned the car, quick and smooth process. I have experince with rent a cars in Europe and I'd like to be serviced everywhere the same like in Alamo in Glasgow. Good job!

I’ve hired cars from Europcar and Hertz and Glasgow airport previously, both of which have been time consuming and Hertz actually tried to accuse me of damaging the car (luckily I had photographic proof). I was worried that I’d have the same slow service and push on extras that I’d had with other rental companies. To my surprise Alamo/Enterprise were great, dealt with at the desk in around 5 minutes then another 5 minutes picking the car up including showing me round the car and how it works (Tesla) A great experience and it only took 5 minutes to drop off again! Only negative I would say would be the follow up call once I returned the car who asked how likely I would be to phone Alamo when I want to hire a car next time. They couldn’t see to get their head around that I wouldn’t call, but simply book online.

Absolute cowboys, avoid these guys at all costs. I pointed out a nick on one of the tyre walls to the service rep when i collected the car and he said "we wouldn't charge for a superficial mark like that". A few weeks after returning the vehicle i received an email with a bill to change the tyre.

Booked a reservation for a car several weeks in advance. I’ve now been told I have to wait 5 hours for the car when I arrive at my reservation time. Beware - your reservation isn’t what you think it is.

This company is a rip-off with exceptionally bad customer service. I returned the car with a minor scratch on the windscreen. The agent to whom I returned the car told me that the repair would be around 50 GBP (in line with a similar damage that I had on my own car a few weeks earlier). I did not receive any reply (or money back) for 6 weeks. When complaining I received an e-mail address which did not work. The second address I received worked but the person did not reply. When I called the person stated that he did not receive my mails. 2 days later I was told that they applied "matrix cost" and charged 912 GBP for it. I assume that "Matrix cost" means that they did not even repaired the scratch. If you google you find out that a full replacement of the windscreen (which would have been unnecessary anyway) would have cost around 250 GBP in the Glasgow area. Bottom-line: rip off plus bad customer service. There are better options!
