What a terrible choice. Never again. Arriving to pick up just to be told the car would be late 30-40 mins , finally its ready but 1,10hours later than the arranged time. Anyway we deliver the car 3 days later but 1hour late as well. Only to figure out without any explanation (we had to call after we saw the receipt ) that we have been charged extra for the late hour delivery (!). Stay away, plenty of companies to try around there ,you might have better luck than us.

Beware with this company. They charged me for the damage seen in the picture which is simply corrosion on the rim of one of the wheels. It was so small, I didn't think to note it when I checked the car out...and figured that they could easily see that this is not caused by a person scratching the car or hitting a curb.
I needed to extend my car rental and was given the number to call the rental firm. I tried the number all week and the call was never answered. No matter how many numbera and options I tried on the Avis call lines I couldn't get an operator, it was always an automated line who ended up hanging up. Now I need to make an unnessesary drive to the place just to speak to a human.
No one there to collect car from. Phoned the number. 20 mins later a narky guy showed up. He loves the power. Last time with them.
Booked online easily. Our flight was 30 minutes early but they let me pick up the car before our reservation. We were given an upgraded car which was great and the staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. I've knocked a star off as the guy at the pick up point was not particularly friendly or helpful - but other than that it was a good experience. Some car hire tips 1: always take photos or a video of the car when you pick it up and drop it off - in case there is a dispute around any damage. 2: search online for separate insurance cover as it can be had for a fraction of the cost of the car hires insurance
Scammers take a car from Aberdeen to glasgow being told about what damage it had on wheel to get a letter saying I have damaged the tyre when I was straight down motorway and dropped off. Turns out to be little bit of rubber not nowhere near the cord guessing one of the mechanics pals must need a tyre that size and expect me to pay for something was on the car already.
Be careful , I booked online via easyJet and paid for two days ,I arrived late 4hrs to collect the car , I was shocked that the car is not available because I arrived late and they will charged me the whole amount . At least I deserved a call or an email to be informed that the booking will be cancelled.
Despite the negative reviews, I had no problems whatsoever with AVIS @ Glasgow Airport during my 7 days rental. They even managed to recover me efficiently after I had a flat tire.
