I bought a house through Corum Paisley this year. I definitely would not recommend them. On multiple occasions they claimed they / the seller were completely unaware of information that I had personally told them twice. There was a 6 week delay in the transaction as they seller took a long time to resolve a problem with a missing listing building consent and no progress updates were received. My solicitor received some paperwork indicating that issue had been resolved late on a Thursday evening. I was then phoned twice over the following weekend being put under huge pressure to complete the transaction - but obviously could not speak to my solicitor as it was the weekend. I was that phoned again on 10AM on the Monday to inform me that they'd put the property back on the market (which they confirmed to me twice) as we were being too slow to conclude the transaction. Yes, you read that right - after a delay at the other side for 6 weeks with no updates, a delay of just over a working day with a lot of communication was unacceptable to them. It turned out that they had not put the property back onto the market (they were refusing to conduct any viewings and telling interested parties the property had been sold and that it was a mistake that it was showing as available on their website) - this was just a further (and rather underhand) technique to put us under pressure.
