Charged 60 for parking after only a hour in the place at a time when you can only meet friends in these places. Shocking. Better going across the road to Tim or Starbucks which has a longer time to park. edit I will be asking Google to review some of your reviews because one seems to be working at the place with putting 5 stars.

Asked for napkins - no napkins, had to ask again. Asked for jam - no jam, had to ask again. Asked for water (no ice) - got glass filled with ice, had to asked again. One week later received a parking fine for parking in their car park. Unbelievable. Just poor, really poor. Hope they read these reviews and explain to us why they do these things. We as a family won't be back, that's a guarantee. PS Costa, the registration is SD59 JEO. Thanks.
Received a 100 parking fine in the post as I stayed in the car park for an hour and a half and apparently the limit is an hour. I was in Costa the entire time catching up with a friend, because we are not allowed to meet anywhere else. Absolutely shocking that Costa Coffee are allowing this to happen, especially during a pandemic where the limited social interaction that we have is extremely important! Sort this out Costa!
Good coffee but table are cleared often enough and the staff shout at each other all the time in conversation.
Beware of parking charges at this costa. If you go over an hour you get fined! Other reviewers have mentioned a tablet to input your details to avoid charges. I wasn’t aware of this or informed by staff when I was at costa with my young baby and already stressed trying to manage the baby and get served and seated. Staff should let you know that you can input your car details- it would only take 10 seconds to advise. I won’t be back at this costa and have to pay 100 in fines. I also contacted costa coffee customer service about this and they were very unhelpful. Very disappointed!
Not for people wanting to enjoy a coffee with a friend without clock watching, 1 hour time restrictions in place the other coffee places nearby (within minutes) Starbucks and Tim Hortons allow a much longer time to park and have time for a proper catch up! EDIT - Response from costa just makes it worse, not advised of inputting registration at the time using the sit in, can’t find a number for the costa to contact about it further! Also Jessica McGoff a reviewer below is a staff member and has left a five star review on her place of work to try and up the star rating on google, which is ridiculous.
Fantastic new Costa Coffee outlet with friendly and helpful staff. The traffic system at this location is slightly unusual so follow the one way sign. It is my Costa Coffee of choice in the area.
tables slow to be cleared with no obvious sanitation taking place floor not always clean. two stars for always excellent coffee.
