This was my first time here their is so many hikes you can do around this area, from the car park the water fall is very easy to find I had 3 kids 1 3 yr old 2 6 yr old, it can be very muddy in some spots so have a change of shoes to be on the safe side, lucky I had a change of clothes as my son fell so many times. before you take the stairs to the water fall if you go straight you will find 2 nice big lakes in between them their is a very lovely picnic area you will know when you have found it as there is a few benches and one is made out of a tree. after you have done the falls you can go to the car park in the sky it is an amazing view point of the city, you can ether walk to it but you have to check the walking time or you can drive to it. over all you can make a family day out.

The waterfall looks very authentic and stunnig. The pathway that heads to the waterfall is very neat and gives you lots of joy for a wee hiking.

I love waterfalls, and have visited both the Iguazu and the Niagara Falls amongst many, many others. Obviously this can not compare in terms of spectacle but this is utterly charming and the people of Paisley ought to be proud of their own.

So am ashamed to say this is the first time I have visited this waterfall (didnt even know it existed) there is a car park just dow from the paisley golf course that takes you to a quarter of a mile walk way that's through rough wood land and is a type 1 surface all the way round so only advisable for the dab at handling your wheel chair users. Update. So I went the following day during the daytime and this path is not suitable in my opinion for wheel chair users at all. Daytime photos have been posted. It is not a lit walk way. I have attached pictures that were taken at semi night time. Well worth the walk right round to the foot of the water fall its lovely. Loads of cyclists use this path way too so be careful as some of them hills lead o to the walkway and they are coming down fast so be careful.
