Great service and product knowledge. Found a problem with my bike and called me straight away with not only the problem, but most importantly an cost effective solution!

My dad's favourite bike shop, have always been brilliant when I'm in town.

Friendly service, good stock of parts and competitively priced. Good to see service is going on during the current situation too. Highly recommend.

Dooleys Cycles is only interested in hard core cyclists. The people that wear the lycra and helmets. That compete and are in cycling clubs. This is NOT the shop for taking your bike or your child's bike for repairs, etc. God help you if you expect any smiles or good service from these people if you are not in their mould. Now, even I would draw the line at going to Halford's but I bet you would get a more courteous reception there if you're a casual cyclist. For all the staff at Dooleys know, you might cycle back and forward to work every day and will have done for years, in all weathers and battling other vehicles. But if your bikes' handlebars are not bent back and the tyres are not thinner than a sheet of paper. And if don't have that look of self-righteous sanctimony on your face, go somewhere else.

Absolutely terrible service. Put my old commuter bike in for them to check over and specifically asked to be quoted for any parts they think it needs before going ahead with them (as it is an old bike and I didn't want to spend too much on it). Got called to say the bike is ready and I owe them over 100. To make it worse when I went in and disputed that I never asked them to replace all the parts and specifically asked to be quoted for them (I would have selected what I want done and what I don't), 3 of their staff started shouting at me aggressively and told me they will take it all to bits again and put the old bits back on but it won't work now. They could have rectified the situation by accepting it was their mistake and offering to take the labour costs off or something but instead they went mad at me for questioning it. Will never be back, genuinely never had service so bad.
