What a cracking bakery, don't be expecting cake boss level but all of their items are well made and delicious, the staff are brilliant, their hot rolls are amazing and cooked properly, but their own morning rolls are to die for and are the best rolls that I know of. My only complaint is that sometimes if your a late riser say 12sh then there are no rolls left, this is my fault plus because they go fast. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I wrote the below review a couple of months ago and I am TOTALLY dissapointed as they have now shut down!!!! They were the best Bakery in Paisley and in Glasgow. No where else compared. But now they have closed down so so so so dissapointed :( This has got to be the best Bakery I have EVER been to! I love my bakery foods and know what is good bakery foods and what is not and this place is amazing! Where do I even start with how good it is!! The fresh apple slices with sugar on top are amazing! The sausage rolls are amazing, fresh, beautiful pastry. The Cheese Pasties are sooooooo delicious!!! The soup!! I mean this soup is as good as any as you would have at a high class restaurant!!! Everything else is also totally amazing! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the owner George is a great guy whos always really helpful too! Only one thing I WISH they made, is fresh cream chocolate eclairs, they do chocolate eclairs but sadly not with fresh cream. But if enough people ask maybe they will decide to make them!! All in all, spread the word and try this place! Compared to certain high street chain bakeries Gallowhill bakery is on another level!! What is a shame as more and more of these bakeries like this one as vanishing and so few are left now which is a total travesty and we are left with chain bakeries which honestly I think are really really awful.
