What can I say other than it's a statue? That being said Coats memorial church, the former TA building and the soon to be refurbished paisley museum are within your eyeline from this vantage point.

I just love living here in Pasiley, so many amazing buildings and lots to do.. a mini Glasgow.
I like the fact that this important figure is respected both in America as well as Scotland. From what I've gathered, he was the touchstone (as a founder of the United States) between liberty and ethical governance. His guidance would make it possible to transition from the Articles of Confederation to a federal structure which would place constant pressure on the system to evolve for more and more respect to those who were not the wealthy and well-connected. The Scottish Enlightenment (which he represented) would be the logistical piece of the puzzle needed for the American experiment of Republicanism or representative democracy.
Excellent Statue of John Witherspoon, one of Paisley's most prolific figures. Identical statue at Princeton University where he had influence in forming the national character of the US. Statue by Alexander Stoddart.
