Having attended Kim's perfect foundations class in person I learned so many new skills and hints to improve my cake making. The class was personal, friendly and fun - and I decorated an awesome professional cake on the day! The follow up support and information was more than excellent, very detailed with a huge amount of information available, but broken up into helpful bite size chunks. In addition Kim has been available to answer questions, give support and encouragement, with nothing being too much trouble. As a teacher she is warm and intuitive and made sure all the students (only 4 so not a big group) all got individual attention and support as required. Would definitely recommend her courses, I'm excited to see what she comes up with next

Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us to create our dream wedding cake based on our ideas and venue decor! Not only did the cake look beautiful on the outside but the various flavours tasted incredible! So many of our guests commented on the delicious cake and the 'wow factor' of the design! I went to one of Kim's Perfect Foundations Classes when I was looking for guidance on making my first wedding cake. I am an amature home baker and was so nervous because Kim's cakes are flawless and she is a perfectionist but there was never any need for my nerves, Kim is so kind and down to earth and has all the time in the world for helping people. Her teaching techniques are simple and designed to put you at ease (like your baking at home in your grannies kitchen on a Sunday) and I can't wait to attend more classes and build on my own skills for a career in the cake industry.
Kim made my wedding cake when I got married in August 2019. As soon as I saw her cakes at a wedding fare I knew that I wanted her to make our cake. She was a delight to work with, she is so creative and her advice was very much appreciated. Our cake was amazing!! I've been to many weddings before where the cake looked good but tasted very average. Not the case with Kim! All 3 layers were absolutely delicious, all my guests commented on how good the cake tasted and looked. We froze what we had left over and it still tastes good after being defrosted. P.S. the lemon cake was my fave flavour
We were absolutely delighted with our cake from Kim, from putting our vision down on paper to the finished cake on the day her service was amazing. Our cake turned out better than i ever could have imagined and it even reflected the sunset on the evening of our wedding. The taste was great and lots of our guests made compliments on our cake. I would definitely recommend Kim, if you can get booked in! Also, i have an allergy to peanuts and she made sure everything was ok for me, including our tester boxes, which i always appreciate.
