The main reason people leave bad reviews is because of things other students do. That is not the responsibility of the MyPad staff. Yeah the building is hilariously hot but you get a fairly big room with an ensuite and I don’t know what more you could want as a broke student. Plus the staff are fun and you can talk to them for anything you need.

are you looking for rent in Paisley, thinking of mypad , here is a review to help decide: if you choose long term contract: You have to pay entire contract the least are probably 6months at once, you might try to reduce upfront payment and you will be looking at two months plus deposit. ther is more laundry is not free, you need to buy a card and pay for washing drying.(usually renting on private offers free laundry and drying). Need fresh air in your room sorry , you have to go downstairs and out the main entrance, windows are double glazed, the one that connects to the outside is blocked ; the second window you can only open at an angle , opening entire second window requires a key, you do not get the key. kitchen door handles are broken, some tenants usually get stuck and they have to call security, the next day maintenance does not show , broken door handles remains the way it is. Kitchen is shared, probably with dirty sinks, stoves and floor; you have to share kitchen sometimes with up to 12 people so get ready to take the queue to cook. Noises, you will be looking at false fire alarm sirens headaches, the place is close to public space where events are held fun when not studying, not so much when you have exams. you have to buy refuse sacks and take out the trash. there are cupboards in the kitchen with locks except you cant get keys so you to trust you kitchen fellows. so much for privacy, almost every week office need to walk into your whether you are there or not; each time they come with something, checking heater, checking that window is blocked and that you cant get fresh air in your room or just a plain visit, will you be comfortable leaving valuable items there??? still want to come to mypad!!!

Great accomodation service. The welcome team is extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect for students and youngsters from Scotland and the rest of the EU, students in University, College or young graduate workers. Prices are all inclusive and bring no bad surprises!

the worst place of tenancy\ don't recommend of you have other options\ the security in the ad is just decoration, true there is a guard at office in weekends not all days of the week, there are cameras but once inside people will steal your food and drinks or use your utensils without permission in kitchens, noise be prepare to wake up in the middle of the night and have your sleep denied and your ears destroyed with fake fire alarms , fire alarms are set off quite often and sometimes more than once in the same day, sometimes alarm can be set off few minutes after it was handled, oh yeah how about fresh air in the room well windows are double glazed which means you can open window but partially even then you cant have fresh air cause you need to open the second window there is key for that and you cant get nor will the office have it open for you so good luck with especially in the summer, oh one more thing this is something you might not see in the ad you pay for laundry, there are fines during my stay it wasn't in effect but there is fines and warnings of fines and you will pay extra charges in case of late payment of rent this i do not know if it applied either so be very careful
