Donated much to Paisley

Thomas Coats from the famous mill owners family is probably the most venerated and definitely the most philanthropic, being involved in education and giving Paisley most of its better buildings including the church named after him, the library and museum, the observatory and the town hall. The thread mills brought immense wealth to the Coats family. The legacy? Well definitely the buildings, but JP Coats the company he helped found,? Well after a series of cuts it deserted Paisley mostly for India , simple economics or exploitation of the Indian populace? Ironically a mere 40 years on automation probably makes the Paisley option viable again
Why am I even rating statues anymore, this is like the fifth I have done today.
