I had an incredible time in this museum, it’s just 29 minutes away from Glasgow using the train less than 4 (round trip). I got lots of info over there, they have amazing pieces and a tiny souvenir store with clever things and not expensive at all. It’s free also.

Amazing building steeped in history and architecture, so glad it was renovated & now looked after, would be nice if the building or the large dome at the top was lit up at night
Good points are that this is keeping alive one of the major contributions to Paisley's existence. Not really big enough space and lacking in substance but at least it's still alive! Only open Wednesdays during October to March and then only opened Wednesdays and Saturdays the rest of the year. Wouldn't go just to see the museum but if your in the area on the correct day, why not go along?
Fascinating historical items on display, staff are very knowledgeable.
