The Civil Service Institute was founded in January 1998 sponsored jointly by the Archdiocese of Changanacherry and the dioceses of Palai and Kanjirappally as a part of the Inter-diocesan Centre for Human Resource Development . The Civil Service Institute is meant to advance the career prospects of young people who have the potential for high –ranking Civil Service placement but can’t afford the expensive coaching available only in big Cities. As it is, quite a lot of our young people who are talented and would compete with skill and tenacity are handicapped by being unable to get access to quality coaching and up-to-date study materials. Some candidate opt out of the race for want of proper motivation or through the mistaken notion that for a person with non-urban background Civil Service placement is an impossible dream. The Centre expects to bring Civil Service training within easy reach of the candidates and it hopes to fulfil this mission by providing top quality training at the lowest possible cost.

Poor Faculty Business Minded Management what you will get in return utter Chaos. Pretty bad for Civil Service Coaching don't join here if you are serious to crack the exam they don't provide anything special than looting your money and Xerox of ncert which you can get it under 2K. Join for Malayalam optional and thats it, now you might be wondering how come students are passing here? It is not because of institute they are hard workers and even if they did it from home they would have passed but what to say MALAYALEE Mentality only tuitions and coaching institutes will help you.

My children did their coaching here and to my dismay, I regret it later. Don't join here, whatever is shown on their brochure not all is real. You will waste 94K it is not worth and hostels nearby sucks with leftovers. They aren't taking this seriously and playing with the dreams of aspirants and cheating them with poor Faculty.

Well managed institution. Teachers and facilities are extremely good. When I found some of the reviews here, I thought the institute is not good and felt negative. But when I discussed with some of the students, who already undergone coaching here told me of good opinion. I joined here, and received good guidance. An institute like this without much financial motive is a blessing to students like me. Thank you.

worst civil service institute in Kerala.I attended full time course in 2018 including malayalam optional.terrible class. The teachers even not share their ppts or class notes to students.when i complained this to the H.R she said:i cant help you!.malayalm class supposed to be completed 3 months befor prelims. But what they did was they stopped the class, techers went to to trivadrum(they have a branch in tvm) to teach crash course.I paid 82000 rupees for full time course. Now its 10000 rupess.may be aspirants join this institute just beacuse their couching fees is less compared to other in Keral. But guys never do that.they will waist you time. From my batch not a single person cleared CSE 2019(ofcorse it depends on one"s hardwork, but still i am saying) Just go throw their materials(ncert copies).its terrible.I think it printed on 1999.You cant read it if you are serious upsc aspirant stay from from civil service institute Pala one posstive-their i month continous crash course for malayalam literature is good,no doubt on that,i repeat the crash course, not their teaching full time course,so if you are choosing malayalam optional, you can go for their 1 month crash thats it Thanks for reading P.S-you can check their promotion booklet,Sreeram venkitaraman ias was there.HE NEVER TOOK COUCHING FROM THEIR!
