This is a very famous temple in south kerala located at Kottayam district. It 's approximate 27 km away from Kottayam railway station and 75 km away from Cochin airport. Main diety of the temple is Goddess Sri Vanadurga. It's an ancient temple and is operating by Travancore Devaswom board. Main festival is Meenappooram Mahotsavam conducting every year Meenam Month (March - April). "Jeevatha ezhunnellathu" and "Ponkala" are the special attractions of this festival. Rahu durga pooja is one of the main pooja & Naranga vilakku (Lighting lemon lamp) is the special offering both are conducting First Friday of every malayalam month.

This is a small temple.pooram festival for five days from punartham day remarkable. Jeevatha procession amidst was a special item.there is ponkala also during festival. Prime priesthood(thanthram) is assigned to Kuthoppady illam of palakkattumala.
