We had our wedding at Palais Royale’s patio on August 21,2020. It was a beautiful location and placed a setting for our intimate wedding. Rebecca was our point of contact and she was so helpful and attentive to ensure we were on top of everything leading up to the wedding. To provide some colour, we changed our venue a month before our wedding due to COVID. Rebecca communicated with management on what we wanted to do and she worked well with us and our wedding planner specially when we asked for specific things to happen. She managed to get approval for a lot of things to what we envisioned our wedding to be. Aside from having a great point of contact, food was incredible and we only received positive feedback from our guest. Chef Jowow (no sure if this is the correct spelling of his name) listened to all our feedback during tasting and executed changes we requested on the day of our wedding. Food was flawless to say the least. As for audio, we had our family friend play the violin and we received praised from their long time AV person. He was able to help our family friend when all their equipment failed. We were so happy how everything turned out. Also, all our vendors praised Palais Royale’s AV system and the man behind it all. Staff were also incredible, Antonio, made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the night and all worked so seamlessly. All in all, Palais Royale is an incredible venue ran by wonderful people who are professional, passionate, and experienced. We can’t wait to come back here and celebrate other milestones ️️️

Was a guest at a reception here and service was great! Bartenders were awesome. Views on a very large deck was beautiful. At night it was well lit. Had a memorable night!

I'm speaking strictly as a guest for a wedding here, so I can't comment on what it's like dealing with the management to organize your event. The setting is awesome, you're right on the lake and have a great view. I was here in the winter so the patio wasn't open, I'm guessing in the summer it's even better. The place is beautifully decorated, although in guessing you can request any changes. The food was incredible. The Caesar salad, which they called the deconstructed Caesar salad was the best I've ever had, I didn't want it to end. The pasta with shrimp was great, only problem is there wasn't enough. The main course was a beef tenderloin and holy sh!t was it awesome, you could slice it with a butter knife. Again I didn't want it to end. Just before midnight they put out a buffet style spread with a huge variety and everything was cooked to perfection. I wish I more stomaches so I could actually eat a little of everything there. The staff was awesome. The valet guys took my car and actually had it waiting at the end of the night (one of the last to leave). The bartenders were fast and no one had to wait for a drink, they were flowing freely. I don't know how but everyone at the table got their food at the same time, which was something I haven't seen before. If you're planning an event and if this place is in your budget then go for it, you and your guests won't be disappointed.

Our family celebrated a 100th Birthday with a Luncheon / Afternoon Tea at Palais Royale last week with approximately 150 guests. The venue, food and service was exceptional together with state-of-the art audio visual equipment / software. A special Thank-you to Jacqueline, our coordinator and Rob, Senior Technician, for accommodating all our requests. The feedback our family received from family and friends was over the top....truly a 1st class venue and afternoon. Palais Royale is a 'hidden gem' in Toronto, with a rich history dating back to the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. It is a complete and memorable venue to celebrate any special event.
