Opted cstar to encourage local players, but it was an awful experience. No food delivered even after 90 mins upon getting confirmation mail . When called the guys then questioned me why I did not follow up after 15 mins( if customer has to actively followup , then why I'm paying delivery charge and giving you this job). Finally they informed me at 8.40 pm that they did not receive the order ( although I received an email with cstar order reference). Then they informed to place order again at 840pm with COD option, however the restaurant was not accepting order as per cstar app at 8.50pm. Later I placed the same order at 8.55 pm at same restaurant through Zomato app for a 20 rs lesser cost and Zomato delivered in 30 mins. Now to get refund for the order at cstar, there was no card refund option and finally they had to take the account number and refund it manually. Summary, 1. App or site does not have mechanism to track successful and failed order. 2. Customer to followup as cstar may not receive orders placed although there is a confirmation mail 3. Cost for the same order at same restaurant is high compared to other delivery apps 4. No provision for automatic card refund and u have to chase them over call. I am wondering how someone can start a customer service business with so many flaws in application and business process.
Worst app ever. No proper response from the customer service. Not delivered food even after making payment and repeated requests for delivering food. Waited for almost 2 hours and at last when i called they told some silly excuse for not delivering food. Don't waste time with this app.

Ontym delivery, and frndly with customers
2 chicken puffs and 2 egg kaaln amounted to Rs. 226. Palakkad to my place is 8km. How can it be so costly for just 4items. Its pathetic.
