It's a wonderful place for refreshments. The bridge is in good condition and the water stream below is the main attraction. You can get down to the river and enjoy the freshness of pure air and water. Gentle flow of river(not sure if it's a river) and coolness of fresh water will definitely make your day. But always remember not to throw away plastics and wastes . There is a general toilet nearby in which some of the rooms are severely mistreated but still usable incase of emergency. However the road leading to this spot is too narrow , light vehicles are recommended. (Bike/medium car) And do not enter the coffee plantations in the surrounding areas and try to pluck coffee beans.

After asking locals about the nearby attractions only we got to know about this place.. 8 kms nearly from Nelliyampathy..! Drive thru the coffee plantation enjoying the smell of the flowers, Walk thru the bridge, playing some time in the water under it all wer quite mesmerizing..!!
Better ambience silent area Worth it
It is one of the tourists attractions in nelliyampathy.In fact it is the only way for Karappara tribal community people to reach outside world. It was built in the year 2014 before which crossing of the river was all most impossible for them in rainy seasons
Nyc place 8-10 kms from nelliyampathy town. It's just a hanging bridge. Water is cool and fresh. Water is available on till February. We have find tea and coffee plantation. Road was narrow and not good. Better to go for 2 wheelers. Good hanging place for friends and families. Enough vehicle parking areas. In there no shop or hotels so should keep water or snacks etc. Enjoy the day. Thank you....

Not a tourist spot . This bridge is constructed for the usage of local people . But we can visit this place and spend a little amount of time here .the river is good . The road to this area is very narrow for more than ten kilometres and one should drive very carefully to this spot .
Scenic Beauty at a silent Location. Located far inside the Tea Estates. Not much of a viewpoint and Can spend limited time as you don't find much to do here. We can spend some time in the river that flows below. There is Karappara Waterfalls at 0.5 KM from here. Visit during monsoon to enjoy the lush green view and the water that flows in the river. Not much of Shops nearby. You can grab a hot Coffee at the PVR Hotel. A place to visit at Nelliyampathy.
