This is the pump house in river Bharthapuzha river in Ottappalam-Meetna Check Dam. Its having 200 Hp motors and pumping water to water treatment plant Kayarampara and after treatment it is pumped to Water Authority Tank nearby for supplying water in Ottappalam Municipality and pumped directly to Ambalappara Panchayath. Normally works 24 hours. Employees are working in shift basis.
