Very famous temple in palakollu, many visit this place every day. This temple has a large gopuram. Lord Shiva's temple. Temple is not huge in size. Location is good and outside facilities are there. Near to main road, everything is convenient. Beside temple there will be some sweets and coconut flowers sellers.

Ksheera RamaLingeswara temple is one of the five pancharama kshetras located in main centre of Palakollu, it was a temple of lord shiva in this temple lord shiva popularly known as "Ksheera Ramalingeswara Swamy" . The temple tower is one of the tallest temple tower in Andhrapradesh with 120ft(9floors). It was constructed during 9th century. There are 72 pillars made of black stone inside the temple. Maha Shivaratri is one of the most popular festival where all people visit temple and offer prayers to seek blessings Every one can easily visit this place by bus or train as bus station is very near to this temple and also Palakollu has a railway station where only 1.5k.m to this temple the temple is situated in the middle of Palakollu town where everything is available around the teme and the temple aslo have one gosaala where temple feeds cows, The temple was visited by many people daily and also the maintainance / organising the temple was also good you can also climb to top of the temple Near to this pancharama in Bhimavaram also we have one more pancharam The temple was constructed by chalukya Bheema in 14th century and kalyana Mandapam was constructed in 17th century

Sri ksheera ramalingeswara swamy temple Palakole, West Godavari district, Andhrapradesh, India.. this temple is one of the famous 5 shiva temples in andhra area which are collectively known as Pancharamas (5 aramas/khesthras). There is a belief that if one could visit all these 5 temples in one day on karthik somavara (any monday in the telugu month of karthik which generally falls in the months of nov/dec) he would attain swarg after his death according to hindhu mythology.. all these 5 temples are built between 13th-14th centuries at the present form by local kings..
