This is one of the Last Station in Gujarat if we travel towards Rajasthan and First Station when we enter Gujarat from Rajasthan. This is near to Mehsana, nearly 70 kms. This is ma Big Station. Its beat and clean all Facilities are available here. Also all services are here at station and in and around. Autos and Rikshaw are available anytime outside station. It's a Busy Station. After this Aravali mountain ranges starts from here.

Palanpur Junction railway station is a major railway station located in Palanpur, Gujarat, India. The railway station is under the administrative control of Western Railway of Indian Railways. Palanpur Junction railway station has five platforms and a total of six tracks.Palanpur Junction railway station, on the Jaipur–Ahmedabad line, comes under the administrative control of Western Railway zone of the Indian Railways. It has direct rail links on the broad gauge to the cities of Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Mysore, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Delhi, Dehradun, Muzaffarpur, Bareilly and Jammu. It is connected to most of the cities and towns in Gujarat such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodra, Bhuj, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar and Gandhidham. Indian Railways’ proposal to double the broad-gauge line between Palanpur and Samakhiali has received government backing. The doubling will benefit the districts of Kutch, Patan and Banaskantha in the state of Gujarat.

A small but beautiful Railway station.some light arrangements are to be done by department. Tea and coffee, mineral water bottle are available.

The station has three platforms. Cleanliness is well maintained here. Railway staff is very good trains are regular. The bus depot is also nearby 400m away towards right Dormitory is not available, food and drinking water is available. Vegetable market an other markets are easily accessible.
