This is a natural water slide!!! It’s 30 minutes walk from the town! It’s so much fun! Go enjoy sliding with bikini or sunga.(Otherwise, your pants might get ripped hahaha. I literally saw a guy whose pants were ripped to shreds.)

This is a perfect place to experience the natural water slide which will surely thrill you all the way into a fantastic cllear water natural pool
Great waterfall/ slide with a nice pool to swim in. Don’t dive in the water because there might be rocks you cannot see. We saw the local guides show others how to slide and where it was safe to jump into the water. The path was very easy, you can wear flip flops and you don’t need much water. To get to the starting point, just go down the southern most road from the town and you will see an entrance marked by someone selling drinks.
We visited this “rock slide” on our way back from Sossego - it was a neat ending to our first day in Lencois. Leave your belongings at the bottom near the lake, and carefully make your way up the side of the slide- which is essentially a wide section of the river that has been naturally yet extensively smoothed over. Get a tip from one of the locals if you’re unsure of how to proceed, but the safest way is to go feet first sitting up. Once you get going there ain’t no stopping (attempting to do so might actually result in injury), so just enjoy the ride!
One of the coolest waterfalls which is actually a massive water slide...
If you are in chapada diamantina, as you plan out your destinations, this is number two or three of the close by attractions. Other that are musts, mosquito and poco azul. An absolutely amazing tourist destination. Love the river, and the swimming and the hiking. There are a few challenging spots. One of our party fell in the river, and I had to go after a few errant flip flops. Yes, why were we hiking in flip flops. I admit, that was dumb.
Nice place be careful i saw a snake over there
Great place to swim. Watch out for rocks and be safe. Best if visited with a guide.
