Here you are greeted, cared for, shown the off menu food, live directly from the kitchen. The whole experience is nice. Basic tasteful interior and ohhhh wow... What an amazing food. I'm in love again, again.

Very good experience. The staff are very friendly. The place are big inside. There a is a waiting room for who does not have reservation. It is a comfortable place. Good wine offer and the menu options are delicious, not only the read meat but also fish and desserts.
Without a doubt the best meal I've had in Spain so far. To have waited for 2 hours and be very happy with what I got simply means Asador Olaverri does their food right. I visited on a Sunday, went to the restaurant after seeing rave reviews to find that they were full, and with reservations going into a second sitting. Luckily, I was alone and could wait --- it is always easier to sit a single person, I think. Still, it took close to 2 hours before I was able to get a table. The manager and his English-speaking daughter were very kind and helpful. I asked the manager to recommend dishes good for one, and he came up with media de hongos (just the right level of tenderness for the eggs, and the right level of salt) and solomillo ganado mayor (I asked for medium rare and it was perfect! I was concerned I wouldn't be able to finish the food because I also ate the free bread, but it tasted really good and I was able to finish everything! All in all, a great experience! I would recommend getting a reservation in advance if at all possible. (P.S. I came in full pilgrim style and was welcomed to the restaurant without hesitation)
Good steak. Even really good. But covered out of its mind with fling salt. Staff was not impressed by my plight. A place of such caliber should know how to get a hint. Also surprised by the fact that they do not really serve any simple sides with the meat. Too bad.
My friends were really satisfied with the \chuleton\ they ordered. The desserts were tasty too! Nice place.
