My goodness! What a tasty Xacuti! The mutton Xacuti was absolutely wonderful. The owner Vallabh is a local Goan who clearly understands the importance of keeping the taste authentic. He said "If I expand, the taste might not be the same". goes to show the man has his priorities in the right place. Absolute treat for the taste buds! Recommend this to anyone who wants to visit this place for the food. Easily one of the best mutton dishes I have had in my life.

Being told by my local n foodie cousin about this place.... I parked at the GPO Panaji and walked down the lane to discover this little nook of pure taste bud happiness.. True to every word.... The mutton xacuti with pao was simply mind blowing... The proprietor Vallab was very welcoming, the food prepared by his loving wife all homemade everyday.... Must visit for every foodie by heart.

This place is a tiny, local bar with Uncles sipping beer over the newspaper at noon hours and I was literally the only female company they've got in a couple of days, I could tell by the looks!! #anythingforgoodfood Thanks to the 4 reviews they've previously got, inspite of the unfair zomato list that's showcased when you search for xacuti, I succeeded in finding it because God really wanted me to have this BEST CHICKEN XACUTI in the world. They don't have a menu. Just a few Desi brands of alcohol, some beers and chicken and mutton xacuti (which was out of stock) served with the local pao. This was a 3-bomb combo of flavors, the first of which explodes in the mouth, second moves down the oesophagus and third explodes in the belly. The spices are ground together combined with the coconut in the right proportions and they use Desi chicken which they probably breed by themselves. So full of flavors, even the chicken that's cooked in the gravy and has carefully absorbed all the lovely flavors of the spices makes it worth the experience.
