Based on the reviews and popularity of Carpenters Choice, we approached the store with our requirement for a buffet cabinet & hutch and a TV cabinet of solid wood. Which was painted white with Duco paint after taking confirmation and expert advise from the makers. The units looked great initially, but after a few months the units developed noticeable cracks in several areas. We informed the store, who arranged to pick the units and repair them. The units were in the workshop for well over 3-4 months and were returned back by just repainting them, in just less than a month the same cracks reappeared and at this stage, we received no support or a solution from Carpenters Choice. So after spending an a substantial amounts for two units, we were extremely disappointed for choosing Carpenters Choice for our furniture and would not recommend them to anyone in our circle. It is unfortunate that our joy of finding a professional carpenter was so short lived.
