A beautiful gallery in Goa too pretty to miss. It showcases collection of work based on Gaon arts and artists and is rightly named as Centre For Indo-Portuguese Arts. Wonderful to meet the owner Orlando, humble enough to keep alive the art of Goa.

We saw a documentary about Goa on YouTube (called “Grenzenlos-Goa”). There was a part about Orlando, his business of making these beautiful azulejos and his family, which was very interesting. When we went to Panjim we were looking for his shop and luckily we found it. Very nice shop where you can buy these awesome azulejos and a nice café beside the atelier. Orlando and his wife Tina were so friendly. It was such a nice experience, we always would come back and highly recommend a visit, when you are in Panjim.

Beautifully restored building and shop, a labour of love, well worth a visit, one of our highlights in Panaji. The tiles are really cool too

One can easily miss this place when passing but if u happen to look for a red building, u can stumble into a very private concert of Fado and mando by the amazing trio of Sonia, Orlando and Carlos with a taste of a great Sangria and Portuguese snacks served by the family. A must visit when in Goa.
