They replaced my 3 year old battery stating the plates were defective, and sold me a new replacement with a small exchange discount. This after using 'very 'modern' looking battery diagnostic tools. I even asked them to confirm the alternator was okay, which was confirmed. Next day their new battery dies out when I'm far away. I take it to a way side repair shop, replace the alternator and all is fine. Moral of the story: Dont believe Exide. Better check with a more competent road side mechanic wherever your car breaks down.
