With the first consultation on the 14th of this month, and the eventual surgical procedure on the 21st, my entire experience has been easier than I had imagined it to be. Dr. Pereira has been frank in providing his point of view about my condition and has had me walking on the same day of the procedure. In terms of what to expect post surgery, he has been precise and to the point. The staff at Good Shepherd have been polite and courteous on all accounts. For the lack of a better way to put it, definitely one of the better treatments I’ve had so far.

A nice welcoming clinic...great staff...respect for time...honest advices..! My varicose vein laser treatment was made so simple and painless...I walked to the bathroom within 30 minutes after the treatment and spent a total of only half day in hospital. In present times, a good place to take medical opinion and treatment. Strongly recommend it.

This Doctor dosent know how to talk to people. Very rude person. If he doesn't know how to talk to his patients I feel he shouldn't be consulting only. He has no manners to talk. People have written he is a good doctor and very kind. But I don't think so at all. He is just the opposite. There are many good doctors besides him. Would recommend to go over there, but not here. I first taught he was good to talk to his patients but he is not at all...

When my 78 year old father with diabetes and heart disease, had bleeding varicose veins added to his list of suffering ; the only recommendation which our family got from friends and neighbors was of Dr.Pereira. And they were very right in their recommendation. Dr.Pereira was honest - not only with his recommendations of a Laser procedure under Local Anesthesia because of my father's general health ; but also with the rider than things could still not go as per plan even though it was a simple procedure. Above all, the care provided was truly warm and overshadowed the more than generous senior citizen discount.

My brother-in-law had a problem in the blood supply of his leg.. Had lost a toe to amputation. Smoker and Diabetic. But my brother in law would not listen to anyone and restrict his diet or smoking. One day had fall at home, and a fresh leg wound which soon became septic. We were advised to get his leg amputated above the knee level. A hopeless situation, we went to Dr.Pereira for a last option. Dr..Pereira words hit my brother in law. "Promise to stop your sweets and smoking,....; then only I take responsibility for your leg and your life". He told us that he doesn't take responsibility for the health of those who cannot take responsibility for their own health. My stunned brother in law stunned us by agreeing there and then , to strictly go by Dr.Pereira's advice. And to cut a long story short my brother in law and we are a healthier family today. We found Dr.Pereira too blunt, but maybe that's sometimes needed for difficult patients like my brother in law. My brother in law still walks on both his legs, has stopped smoking. Cheats sometimes on his sweets, butkeeps good control on his sugar.
