It's a old hospital with a new name. All the visiting doctors are good here. Just that the facilities are old and not that good. The staff are helpful which makes its comfortable for patients.

Formerly Bhandare Hospital. This place has been serving the people since decades. Now that it is taken by health way hospitals, they have renovated the structure. The doctors are renowned and very helpful. The nurses and other support staff are very cooperative. Tariffs are slightly on the higher side but the service they provide is worth. The rooms available are limited. You have options of general ward, shared rooms and private rooms.

2.5 Stars would be an ideal rating for this place. It's clean, but not recommended in case of an emergency. Somehow the doctors just don't want to take your responsibility...Staff is good and friendly.. Doctors recommend the ICU which is approx Rs 8000 per night.. When a simple room would be OK. (3700/ night) Do not go to this hospital if you don't have a medical insurance. In short.. Give them a finger and they will take your whole hand..

A very good hospital, someone from the family had a medical condition and right from diagnosis to operation to recovery and follow up was well handled by the hospital. The quality of doctors here is good. The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent and the nurses and other attendants are always at hand to attend to your needs. The canteen is a bit cramped but the food served is decent enough. The pharmacy on the ground floor is well equipped. Parking can be an issue at times. Highly recommended.

In short everything is old here for the price of new.! The infrastructure, equipment, etc everything is old here. Consultation rooms here look like a room for some old rural govt. clinic. This hospital lacks basic hygiene and things are shabby. My suggestion would be if your doctor has a clinic or visits other better hospital (for eg. Manipal), go and see him there. Maybe you will pay 100-300 rupees more per visit but it will be worth it.

I had to have emergency surgery in April. This was my best hospital experience ever. The room was cleaned two to three times a day, the nurses were vigilant especially if they see you've been alone hours at a stretch. They would check on me every 20 minutes. The x-ray machine is brought to the room so there's no hassle of getting up from the bed and struggling to sit in a wheelchair. Good team of doctors. This will be my first choice when it comes to hospitals.
