It's a lab and field based research centre of ICMR-NIMR. Lot of govt. projects on malaria run here, also a project across the globe which is funded by NIH, USA is currently going and this unit is taking a part on behalf of India with some other centres of nimr. Good place to work. The laboratory is situated in the bank of mandovi river.
