A delight to the eyes... Fresh vegetables and fruits of the season in Panjim market. Abundance of Mankurad Mangoes (Local very delicious variety of Mangoes), Jamun, Carissa(karvanda in Marathi), Jackfruit, fresh Cashew, Pinapple, Jam, Kokam, Pumkin, Ashgourd, Red spinach, tendli, Snake gourd, raw bananas, string beans.

One of the largest markets I have seen in Goa. It is basically a vegetable and fruit market, but you could also find many different shops like jewellery, phone, party supplies, spices, etc. Overall I had a good experience. I would not say that the vegetable prices were much cheaper then outside, but it was definitely a little lighter on the pocket. Its the place where you could get anything. It's a large covered building with working fans. Although, there were some shortcomings like lack of working lift, and cleanliness. Some places were really horrible, and government should do something to clean them. Apart from that, all seems okay to me..
