Uday Ahar is your typical hole in the wall restaurant. I have been going to this place for years now, and the food is as brilliant as always. Fish curry rice thali here is so flavourful and such a value for money pricing. Even the more expensive kingfish thali is priced lower than other famous places in the Panaji area. Being the restaurant that it is, the ambience is ok for a quick in and quick out type meal. But the food is absolute worth it. Post our current worldwide situation, i went in for a take away order and the flavours were just the same. Very polite people running this restaurant; if not dine-in I definitely recommend at least get take out from here.

Had worst experience here. Soft drinks served were expired. No card/UPI/Paytm payment. Only cash. Very small and not so clean place. The only star is for the ok ok quality of food. Not recommended.

UNPLEASANT It is near the market and I found it very disappointing. The Staff don't care much and I'm afraid to say seemed happier holding hands with OR hugging each other. Many ladies came in just to use the Restroom and leave...... Ordered "Paneer Manchurian" (see photo), took 25 minutes to arrive and was so burnt and charred it was like old chicken.... DO NOT BOTHER
